TRUCKIN’ ALONG U.S. ROUTE 62/82 YARD SALE

October 14, 2015 By Jacque James

Five communities east of Lubbock on Highway 62/82 have joined together for Truckin’ along U.S. Route 62/82 Yard Sales.  Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. by traveling east from Lubbock through the communities of Idalou, Lorenzo, Ralls, Crosbyton, and Dickens.  Watch for vintage markets, yard sales, farmer’s markets, and check for stops on the rural stretches of Highway 62/82 as you travel.  Stop in communities to shop for bargains at the markets, yard sales, and shops that you might never get to visit without this special event.  Maps of sale location will be available in each community.  Don’t forget to try out local restaurants, BBQ places, burger joints, food vendors, parks, historic sights, and museums on the way.  Meet the friendly folks along the route as you have a Junkin’ Good Time on Saturday, October 24, 2014.
