Crosby County Library

Crosbyton Library-ChamberCrosby County Library: Located at 114 West Aspen the Crosby County Library is a beautiful limestone building. It houses the library proper, a community room, the English Library room, and a great foyer.

The library itself has over 31,000 books and is a member of TELEX, the Texas system to borrow from libraries with larger or unique holdings. The staff includes librarian, Janelle Berry and library aide, Peggy Ellison. The two host a children’s summer reading program that features a weekly Story Time and an event with a storyteller or musician to entertain and enchant the children of Crosbyton. A large children’s section gives summer readers the opportunity to hone their reading skills.

The knowledgeable staff can help patrons find books, suggest books from various genre, and introduce you to authors they enjoy. The warm atmosphere welcomes a visitor to stay and browse. The library also offers a bank of computers with Internet access.

The library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
